Apprentice Receptionist and Customer Service Practitioner - Training Provider: Skills For Work

Receive, assist and direct patients (care navigation) in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

Desired qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*-C/9-4 in English and maths is desirable for this role

  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft office
  • Willing and able to complete all learning and assessment requirements of the qualification
  • Able to establish good working relationships with staff, pupils, parents and outside agencies
  • Able and willing to comply with all school policies and procedures relating to child protection, equality, diversity, health, safety, security, confidentiality and data protection
  • Ability to prioritise workload and remain calm and effective under pressure at busy times
  • Have a neat and organised approach to work, with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

Training provided
Level 2 Standard as Customer Service Practitioner
Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required)
