Social Media Manager - Corelli Wine Company Ltd

Job Description:
Corelli Wines is a start-up wine company with an integrated business model that covers all areas of the wine industry from importation, wholesaling, distributing and retailing in the UK and abroad. We specialise in Greek fine wine and work very closely with specially selected wineries in Greece.

Office & Warehouse location is Ilkley, Unit 1 Drill Hall, LS29 8EZ and will be your place of work.

Character and person
We are looking for a self-starter who is happy to organically create content for the business, share with the team and ask for support/checking where needed. We are looking for a person who will be a team player and will get involved in all aspects of the business and will be visible on company social media posts as ‘one of the team’.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing the company’s social media channels with support from the company head of operations and director. You will be responsible for creating and producing content that can be posted on the social channels, or stored for future use. You shall be responsible for storing and managing all information and content (text, pictures, videos etc) on the company systems and ensuring it’s security. You will be responsible for at least two Instagram posts per week in the current format and template that we already post, plus one other post in the week which needs to be decided. You will also build/recycle content for posts on LinkedIn business network, Twitter and building up our Pinterest site. We also have access to the new social media platform Clubhouse which could be developed by you if you believe it is useful or find it interesting. You will also be responsible for taking content from posts, or organically producing, to post blogs on the company website blog page.

25 Hours per week, Monday to Friday with Flexi time

Essential and desirable skills:

Requirements
You will have any work some work experience to talk about in your interview and bring transferable skills to this job. A good level of written English is required for this role. You will have used Instagram, Facebook or Twitter for personal use previously. Experience of LinkedIn, Twitter or Pinterest is not required.

Training provided:

  • You will be able to undertake short training online programmes to support you in your role.
  • We will look to enroll you on an English course to support your written context.
  • WSET Level 1 and/or 2 wine exams can be undertaken to build your knowledge of wine to support posting and creating content.
