Enablement Assistant (Nights) – Bradford Council

As a Health and Well-being service we provide a range of social care and support services to people who live in the community, some of which have dementia and complex needs. As a team we all take personal responsibility for ensuring we contribute to a responsive safe, high quality, person centred enablement service.

The night team provides specialist enablement services throughout the night to vulnerable people with assessed needs in the District.

A full manual driving license is required for all posts and you will be required to drive lease vehicles as part of your duties.

You will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and other religious festivals, as part of a rolling rota covering a 24 hour period.

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required for the Enablement Assistant post.

An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.

Weekly Wage:
Band 4:  £18,562 - £18,933 pa (Pro-rata for Part Time Posts)
+ Appropriate night enhancements

Employer Name & Location:
Bradford Council - Currently based at Cornerstones, Cottingley working throughout the Night across the community and various locations across Bradford District and surrounding areas

Working week - contracted hours / full time / part time:
The current shift pattern is 4 on 4 off working from 8.30pm to 6.00am (9.00 hours as will have 30minute break) over an 8 week shift pattern this works out at 31.5 hours per week.
