Girls Into Sport 2024

Hospitality, Tourism and Sports

We welcomed 119 Girls from across Bradford to our bigger and better Girls Into Sport event hosted at Bradford College on 27th June.

Those with us enjoyed a full day participating in a series of sport events that showcased the varied career paths that exist within Sport.

The career pathways were supported and brought to life by local Sporting partners including Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Bradford Bulls, The West Riding County FA and Active Bradford. As well as highlighting the vast number of exciting opportunities that exist for females both on and off the field of play, interactive sessions ensured that all attendees had a fantastic time.

The young people who attended developed skills in: Communication & Collaboration as well as Leadership & Responsibility. All young people received a Digital Skills Badge in recognition of the Sport Careers skills that they developed at the event.
