Empowering Communities Through Employment: Jobs and Training Fair Connects Residents with Opportunities

On Monday 14 September 2026, SkillsHouse, in partnership with Lower Grange Community Centre, successfully delivered a Jobs and Training Fair designed to connect local residents with employment, training and career development opportunities.

The event brought together more than 20 employers and training providers alongside over 75 job seekers from across the local community. Supported by venue manager Alex Dilger, SkillsHouse Business Engagement Officers and a dedicated team of volunteers, the event provided a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment where residents could engage directly with organisations offering vacancies, training programmes and career advice.
