Course Description: This could be used to support your role in the workplace or aid interactions with people who have mental health difficulties. You will look at the behaviours that can help you recognise common issues and their causes, and gain knowledge of the impact mental ill-health has and the support available to maintain positive wellbeing. Our distance learning courses start on a regular basis and will enhance the knowledge of anyone working in a range of industries, improving their practice and also counting towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Provider and location: Shipley College. This is an online course.

Skills/qualifications the course will provide: Awareness of Mental Health Problems Level 2 Certificate.

Required qualification and educational requirements for attendance:  You must be 18 or over to enrol. These courses require a good level of English, are delivered via distance learning and take 6-18 weeks to complete. To succeed on a distance learning course, you must be motivated to meet deadlines and produce detailed quality work without supervision.
