Worldhost Principles of Customer Service and City & Guilds Level 2 Customer Service Certificate
Course Description: It is ideal for any member of staff that has day-to-day interaction with customers or for those who want to work in customer service, to develop your knowledge and understanding of the principles of effective customer service.
Day 1: You complete the WorldHost Principles of Customer Service, learning the importance of increased revenue & repeat business, improved communication between staff & customers, giving positive first impressions and the role of all staff in delivering outstanding customer care. Assessment will be by a short multiple-choice test, and you gain a WorldHost Principles of Customer Service Certificate.
Day 2: You complete the City & Guilds Customer Service Level 2 Certificate, which covers the delivery of effective customer service and supporting the customer service environment to give you the confidence & ability to deal with customers in a professional and efficient manner. Assessment will be through an online test, and you gain a City & Guilds Customer Service Level 2 Certificate.
Provider and location: Courses take place at Shipley College. We can deliver a bespoke course at the business premises if there are 8 or more individuals.
Date and Duration: Students will need to attend all sessions and will be classroom based. Each day will be from 9am - 4.30pm.

Skills/qualifications the course will provide: You will gain a City & Guilds Customer Service Level 2 Certificate and WorldHost Principles of Customer Service Certificate.
Required qualification and educational requirements for attendance: You will need to have 1 GCSE at grade D or a Level 1 Functional Skills in English (or equivalent). Assessments may take place in College or your business.
