SkillsHouse teams up with Golden Palms to bring local jobs to Bradford’s Newest City Centre Destination
SkillsHouse is excited to announce a new partnership with Golden Palms, a well-loved family-run business based in Bradford, to help recruit local talent for their brand-new venue opening this September.
Right in the heart of Bradford City Centre, taking over the former Telegraph & Argus office, the new Golden Palms development will include a world buffet restaurant, café, lounge, and event space offering a vibrant and inclusive hospitality experience.
As part of their commitment to the community, Golden Palms is working in close collaboration with SkillsHouse to ensure employment opportunities are directed toward jobseekers residing within the Bradford district.
To date, a variety of roles are in the process of being recruited to across the catering and hospitality sectors, including; cooks, buffet organisers, kitchen & café assistants, dessert & baking assistants and dishwashers & cleaners.
This partnership reflects SkillsHouse’s ongoing mission to connect local employers with skilled individuals, helping to drive economic growth and employment across the district.

SkillsHouse is Bradford Council’s all-age careers and employability service, dedicated to improving career outcomes for residents through partnerships with local employers, educational institutions, and community organisations.
The first stage of the initial recruitment process has now passed, with 63 jobseekers put forward by SkillsHouse to the interview stage. However, the collaboration with Golden Palms is ongoing, with additional vacancies expected to be announced in the coming months.
