Parliament examines what the Government is doing, makes new laws, holds the power to set taxes and debates the issues of the day. The House of Commons and House of Lords each play an important role in Parliament's work. The UK Parliament has two Houses that work on behalf of UK citizens to check and challenge the work of Government, make and shape effective laws, and debate/make decisions on the big issues of the day.

The House of Commons is a unique and exciting place to work right at the heart of the UK's democracy. They offer work experience and apprenticeship at various points of the year.  Find details of these and other vacancies HERE
