Employers in attendance included West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Fire Service, Tiffin Sandwiches, DWP, Be Caring, Robertson Construction, Realise Training, Bradford College, Bradford University, Barnardo’s, Smartworks and Kings Trust.

Connor from Tiffin Sandwiches attended the event and stated: “It was a really well-organised event with a great turnout. We spoke to a number of enthusiastic candidates and have already shortlisted a few for interviews. It’s encouraging to see so much local talent in one place.”

It was an insightful day for many attendees who said:

“I found the event really helpful — I spoke to several employers and left feeling more confident about my job search.”

“It was great to see so many opportunities in one place. I’ve already applied for two roles I discovered at the fair.”

“The support from the staff and training providers was brilliant. I got advice on my CV and interview prep that I’ll definitely use.”

The event demonstrated the impact of strong community partnerships in creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping individuals take positive steps toward volunteering, employment and training.
