Prospect Change Works With Bradford College

Prospect Change, based in Bradford, specialises in supporting organisations in the coordination and delivery of projects and change initiatives, through the application of a concept known as PMO – Project Management Office.

Their aim is to become the go to consultancy for PMO expertise, support and services and according to Jennifer Anderton, co-founder of Prospect Change, “put PMO on the further and higher education map”.

Since they set up in January 2022, Prospect Change has won the New Business of the Year award (2023) at the Bradford Means Business Awards and was a nominee for the Outstanding Business Contribution Award at the Careers and Technical Education Awards in 2023 and 2024.

Prospect Change is an employer partner of Bradford College and has worked closely with the Professional Services team there to inform and influence their Level 3 Business curriculum. This involved delivering several workshops to embed curriculum learning and upskill students about the role of a PMO and the soft and technical skills required.

Asha Ryan and Devanshu Kumar were Level 3 students who engaged in these masterclasses and went on to take part in a voluntary 12-week Academy and mentoring programme alongside their studies. Upon completion, Asha and Dev were offered internship positions with Prospect Change and stepped into employment through this from September 2023.  Their diligence and passion for the organisation was noted most recently with Asha being announced in the role of Social Media & Engagement Coordinator and Devanshu being appointed Business & Project Support Officer.

The Prospect Change Academy was described by Asha as “an amazing opportunity that many people my age haven’t had the chance to experience yet.”

Prospect Change will continue working with Bradford College, shaping the delivery of the T Level in Management & Administration and supporting the curriculum development. Asha and Devanshu are keen to share their learnt expertise and work hard to explain to young people what a PMO is. Devanshu said “If I ever said to the 16 year old me that I will be delivering a session at 18 to college students just one year younger than me, I would have laughed, however, I got the opportunity at Prospect Change”.
