Your career path is unique, and so is our approach - there are lots of ways that we can support you to find a job and build a career. All of these services are free for you to access.

SkillsHouse works in partnership with schools, so if you are still at school, you should talk to your careers adviser first.  If you have finished year 11 or sixth form and are unsure what to do next, talk to SkillsHouse and we can help with:

  • Personalised support from your own Careers Adviser
  • Information, advice and guidance on your next steps
  • Introductions to different employment sectors and pathways
  • Support with college and training applications
  • Free skills development sessions
  • Help in overcoming barriers to moving on
  • Hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to meet employers
  • Invitations to jobs and training fairs
  • Work placements with local businesses
